I want to be able to be strong
And live the dreams you laid in my heart.
Every night,
I sleep on the bed of planning and ambition,
But wake up to see my flaws looking and grinning as my responsibilities hang on the hanger of procrastination.
Dear Father,
I want to be able to be a good learner,
Every day, I walk the streets of humanity
I see their longing for your intervention
But I come home daily to sit on a couch of distorted thoughts
Juxtaposing my desire to learn with the pleasantness of being the way I am
Dear father
If you be there
Save me from here
So I'd be useful here.
Chryss
